Description
The Teacher in Space Project (TISP) was a NASA program announced by President Ronald Reagan in 1984. It was designed to inspire students, honor teachers, and spur interest in mathematics, science and space exploration. Although the program was canceled in 1990 following the death of its first participant, Christa McAuliffe, you can remember and honor this time in history with this state-of-the-art patch.
