The microgravity symbol morphs into the astronaut symbol as the dominant design feature of this patch. The first Israeli astronaut was also aboard. The vehicle and crew were lost during re-entry sixteen minutes prior to their scheduled landing.

Great patch for my nasa themed flight jacket
Bought this to honor one of my favorite astronauts Kalpana chawla and the rest of the crew of the Columbia shuttle. I had it sewn on to a flight jacket that I had bought back in February of 2025 and it looks very good on it.
